Mindy A Butler was born late 1980 to Harvey Lee Rogers and the late Shannon D. Butler. At an early age people were amazed by the spunk this little girl had. Her dad, Jerome Long, and mother were her greatest encouragers and cheerleaders. She is blessed to have six sisters, Koya, Kenya, Carolyn, Rachel, Christina and Chrystal and two brothers, Everett and Omar. Throughout the years the spunk continued to grow, and caused Mindy to be self-motivated to accomplish many things.
Among her accomplishments were numerous awards throughout her years prior to entering college. Some of these include the Martin Luther King Jr. award, a medallion as a state Finalist in Future Business Leaders of America and an Outstanding Leadership medal from the U.S. army. As a member of FBLA, she served as reporter, and Vice President. She was also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Health Occupation Students of America.
At the age of 12 Mindy was called into the ministry. It was around that time that she started serving in the church in various offices including teaching Sunday school, and Assistant Sunday school Secretary, and Treasurer of the Deep River Association.
At 15 Mindy traveled to different churches doing motivational speaking. She was 18 when she did her official initial sermon. When she arrived at Winston Salem State University (WSSU), she became a leader in Young Life, which is a mentoring program, she also founded Woman 2 Woman and Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
From 2003-2005 she presided over The Christian Life Center (TCLC) of Winston Salem which was based on the campus of WSSU and was a blessing to many people.
In 2004 she founded Faithfilled Ministries and The Impartation (which is her business) and Alpha Nu Omega Sorority Inc. (Charter member) and served as Advisor, Chapter President and Regional Assistant of Ministry and Administration. She was also recognized as an honor student during her course of study.
In 2006 she gave birth to Destiny Realized Empowered And Motivated (D.R.E.A.M.) which is a program that focuses on developing strong leaders in our youth. In 2011 she merged all of her products under a household name of MAB Enterprise & founded The Butler Foundation in honor of her mother.
In 2005 she graduated with a BS in Business Administration and an MS in Pastoral Counseling May 2011. In July 2013 she received her PhD in Biblical Studies.
Dr. Mindy is currently serving as a consultant to ministries assisting them to move the vision forward that God has given them.
Above all of these great things she has accomplished, the greatest has been the answering the call to cry loud and spare not the gospel of Jesus Christ. Mindy believes firmly that Jesus is her LIFE. Ministry is her PASSION. Writing is her PLEASURE. Being free is her JOY.
